The Coffee Song is door velen gezongen, onder wie Frank Sinatra, maar de vrolijkste vertolking is toch wel van de Londense afro-band Osibisa. De band werd opgericht in 1969, drie leden kwamen uit Ghana, de anderen waren afkomstig uit de Caribbean. Deze opname is uit 1976. Het liedje is geschreven door Bob Hilliard en Dick Miles, en was bedoeld om het Braziliaanse koffie-overschot te schetsen.
